The transport of the components was divided into three parts:
- The gas turbine on a truck from Genoa to Oswiecim
- The generator on a part cargo ship from Genoa to Porto Nogaro
- Then a transport by railway carriage from Porto Nogaro to Oswiecim in Poland
A complex handling operation, successfully finalized thanks to the effective coordination between Ansaldo Energia and its supply chain, in particular the shipping company Interglobo Project.
