INTERGLOBO DONATES SANITARY MATERIAL TO A HOSPITAL IN VALENCIA
During the past weeks, the media generated a large amount of news in which society has shown its most positive side. The logistics and transportation industry, that has played a key role in managing the Covid-19 crisis, joined this wave of solidarity through different ventures and projects.
The staff of the logistics company decided to purchase and coordinate a shipment of surgical masks to be donated to a hospital in Valencia.
The initiative came from the personnel of the Interglobo office in Valencia, who directly managed the purchase and shipment of surgical masks and were imported through the Company’s structure and offices in Hong Kong.
“In a situation like this, we believe that any contribution always adds up and that’s why we contacted our colleagues from Interglobo in Hong Kong to manage the purchase and the shipment of a batch of masks with the intention to give support to the services that are closer to us”, the Company sources assure.
It is a small contribution that can represent a great help when there have been serious problems in the procurement of this type of medical material. The personnel of Interglobo has shown its personal commitment in the fight against Covid-19.
This is an additional contribution from the world of logistics, which once again demonstrates its commitment to this crisis.
LA PLANTILLA DE INTERGLOBO DONA MATERIAL SANITARIO A UN HOSPITAL VALENCIANO
Durante las últimas semanas los medios de comunicación han generado una gran cantidad de noticias en las que la sociedad ha mostrado su lado más positivo. El sector de la logística y del transporte, clave en la gestión de la crisis generada por el Covid-19, también ha querido sumarse a esta ola de solidaridad mediante diferentes iniciativas y proyectos.
Por iniciativa propia, la plantilla del operador logístico decidió adquirir y coordinar un envío de mascarillas quirúrgicas para donar a un hospital valenciano.
En este caso la iniciativa proviene de los propios trabajadores de la oficina de Interglobo en Valencia, quienes han gestionado y sufragado la adquisición de un lote de mascarillas quirúrgicas compradas e importadas mediante la oficina que la compañía tiene en Hong Kong.
“En una situación como esta que nos supera a todos, creemos que cualquier aportación siempre suma y por ello nos pusimos en contacto con nuestros compañeros de la oficina de Interglobo Hong Kong para gestionar la compra y envío de un lote de estas mascarillas con la intención de apoyar un poco a los sanitarios que tenemos más cercanos”, aseguran fuentes de la compañía.
Se trata de una aportación que puede resultar de gran ayuda en un momento en el que han existido graves problemas de escasez de este tipo de material sanitario. Los trabajadores de Interglobo han demostrado su compromiso, de una manera altruista, en la lucha contra el Covid-19.
Es una aportación más de las que el mundo de la logística está realizando, demostrando su compromiso ante esta crisis.
